Tupasÿ lodge is located in the province of Corrientes in Argentina. We are in Colonia Carlos Pellegrini within the Natural Reserve of Ibera. The lodge is on the streets Isipó y Yacaré very close to the entrance of Colonia Pellegrini.

How to arrive to Tupasÿ lodge?

The different ways of access are the following ones:

From Buenos Aires to Mercedes

Car: National road Nº14 to Cuatro Bocas. Then take the national road Nº 119 to Curuzú Cuatiá and keep going until you get to Mercedes.

From Mercedes to Tupasÿ lodge:

It takes more a less 2.30h in a 4x4 vehicle, but it always depends on the weather conditions. 35 km are asphalt + 40 km of removed muddy earth (due to road works that are taking place) + 42km de consolidated rubble. We suggest having a 4x4 vehicle.

Private 4x4 vehicle: There are several people that provide this service (Please request the contact details for transportation service)

Semi-private transfer: There is a semi-regular 4x4 transfer. You share the ride with other people coming to Pellegrini. Please check their schedules and rates. The services are not available on Sundays.

Regular buses: These are regular services but they are not 4x4 vehicles. They are ALWAYS subject to the weather and road condition. Please check their schedules and rates. The services are not available on Sundays.

From Posadas to Tupasÿ lodge:

It generally takes 3.30h. The route is 90 km asphalted + 120 Km of sand and dirt. The time length is estimate, it depends on the weather conditions. 4x4 vehicles are suggested as well as private transportation (Please request the contact details for transportation service)

Option 1: Road 12- detour to road 41 (asphalted) and then road 40 (dirt and sand)

Option 2: Road 14 until the intersection with road 40 (dirt and sand)

Air Plane: has airport, you can check with the airline Aerolineas Argentinas www.aerolineas.com.ar

From Iguazu to Tupasÿ lodge:

Estimate time is 6h unless you decide to stop in San Ignacio ruins or Wanda mines. The time length is estimate, it depends on the weather conditions. You should take National road nº 12 until you get to Posadas.

From Tupasÿ Lodge to Virasoro:

For those guests who don't want to take private transfers to Posadas or Iguazu. They can take private transfer to Virasoro and then a regular bus service to Posadas or Iguazu.
